Dorie Miller Housing Corporation
Internship Program For Grants
Objectives
The Dorie Miller Internship Program participants learn
hands-on from the professionals in their field, who are currently employed by
the Dorie Miller Corporation.
They also learn from the Committee Chairs, our volunteers,
running Social Programs for our Elders and for the New Shareholders and they
are the backbone of our community for a very long time.
Our staff and contractors are Union members with many skill
sets, to guarantee a successful internship for all participants.
The Dorie Miller Administration together with the Board of
Directors are supervising the Internship programs, to guarantee the best
results for all participants.
Goal
Operating a 300 unit residential Self-Managing COOP
Corporation, together with the support from the local community, including
politicians from the 35th District such as the Senator, District
Leader and the Assembly.
We continuously improve the economy in our neighborhood and
through our internship program we are providing the necessary skills for our
interns to enter the work force successfully.
